We came up with a healthier alternative to store-bought granola which is often loaded with sugar and flavorings. Check out this super simple recipe that will be sure to fuel your day and give you superior balancing powers!
Preheat oven at 150C / 300F
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl:
2 cups rolled oats
½ cup nuts (any kind, we used walnuts)
¼ cup seeds (any kind, we used pumpkin seeds)
½ cup dried fruit (any kind, we used dried figs, mulberries and raisins)
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
Sprinkle of cacao nibs
Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown
Tip: Open the oven midway to turn and mix the granola so that it browns more evenly.
Keeps for up to 2 weeks in an airtight container.
